국제 해상위험물 운송규정이 개정되어 IMO 해사기구에서 제42차 IMDG Code 를 발행하였습니다. 두 권으로 구성 된 규정집에서는 위험물의 정의, 훈련, 분류, 포장과 운송절차, 위험물 용기의 구조 및 성능시험, 격리조항 등을 다루고 있는 Volume1 과 위험물 목록, 특별규정과 소량 포장 예외조항 등을 다루고 있는 Volume 2 를 통해서 컨테이너로 수출 시 안전하게 운송이 가능하도록 많은 도움을 주고 있습니다. IMDG Code 국제 위험물 운송 규정은 2년 마다 개정되고 있으며 금 번 42차 규정은 지난 41차 규정과 병행하여 25년 까지 집행되며 순차적으로 26년 부터는 완전히 강제화 되도록 정해져 있습니다. 이에 대한 사항을 올 해 5 월, MSC 해사안전위원회 108차 회의를 통해 새로 개정 된 42차 IMDG Code 가 2025년 1월 부터 적용 됨을 발표하였습니다. 이번 개정을 통해서 안전협약을 강화하고 운영절차를 간소화하며 또한 국제 해상 표준화의 준수가 가능하도록 설계된 광범위한 변화를 포함한다고 합니다. |
